It looked cool for the first two minutes, then it looked silly for the next five minutes. Since then it has been just annoying.

/signed with letters as huuuuuuge as the numbers themselves.

Did cartoon network buy a large share in ANet?

They are too big, distracting, and obtrusive. Was the purpose of it for vanity's sake? Cause I don't need it. It's what health bars are for. If some people need to see it in billboard size, ok, but save the option to have it little again.

Those numbers are too large even on a 24 inch monitor.

/signed, as many times as possible.

The new numbers give it a cartoonish-feel as has been stated, and clutter up the screen drastically when running a MM or other multi-hit build.

Those who like it would be able to keep it, those who don't could revert back to the original. What's there to lose?

I actually like them but can see how they could get old and or be annoying for others. Generally i'm all for customization of the interfaces and therefore if there was a way to select which one you would see, that would be awesome. however if that's not possible and it's a one or the other situation then i really couldn't care less. Either way i'll get used to it.

/signed till I get carpal tunnel! Theyre awful! Looks ridiculous, they appear, get much larger, then kind of "bounce away". I MUCH preffered the old style ones. Gave information need, withoutcluttering up the screen.

Whine whine whine. I didn't like the old new interface either when it first came out. I now hardly remember it. You'll get used to it and eventually won't even notice the difference.

An option to toggle this would be very, very cool, and would make me love you guys at ANET even more(GREAT UPDATE BTW!). However, I can certainly live without such an option, and after several days/weeks on the new interphase, perhaps it'll be possible to just block out the pointless/distracting gigantic healing/damage numbers.

If you give us an option to toggle it, put the default to how it is now. Because after playing for about 30 minutes in Random Arenas earlier(all I can stand...) I noticed that very poor players were actualy kiting! Even though that kiting IW mesmer was trying to do so while Crippled, and under Frenzy... It was a true effort to not die pointlessly, even if it only resulted in him taking a ton of auto-crits under Frenzy, at least he tried, you know?

It was nice for a few mins in a small fight, but it gets annoying.
